Google Releases Android 12 to AOSP
Google has recently rolled out Android 12 to AOSP in a huge departure from earlier years, though it didn’t come to any Pixel phones. During the rollout, it says that they’re pushing the source to AOSP and releasing the most recent Android version officially. Watch out for Android 12 coming to a device close by you, beginning with Pixel in the upcoming weeks and OnePlus, Samsung Galaxy, Tecno, Realme, Oppo, Xiaomi and Vivo later this year. Traditionally for Google phones, the Android Open Source Project release of the next Android version coincides with day one availability. However, this case isn’t included this year, with Google only showing that Pixel phones should hope for the update in the upcoming weeks. This comes as the final preview from September 8’s Android 12 Beta 5 release candidate, with Google advising developers to keep using the Beta 5 images that’ll be used in testing.
